On Monday March 30th Malvern Rotary Club held a very successful ‘Support for Ukraine Evening’, hosted by the Town’s Rugby Club.2
Brilliant presentations were given by Graham Cox and Will Jackson, who both with Rotary GB&I and the Ukraine Freedom Party in Hereford and are part of the team who have been driving over to Ukraine to Malvern’s donations of supplies to the men on the front line and formula milk to women’s refuges.
The event was well supported, with Rotarians joined by the Inner Wheel, Malvern Priory, West Malvern Art groups and members of the Rugby community.
There were many generous donations of formula milk and warm clothes.
The slides included pictures of supplies readied for transport to Ukraine
Graham Cox provided illustrations of the ways that the donations of supplies to the Women’s refuges are supporting the survival of mothers and babies in very desperate circumstance.
