A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY
Rotary is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an ambitious young business, professional or public service man or woman to participate in a unique cultural and vocational experience.
Next year from 6th April to 4th May a team of four from the local District led by an experienced Rotarian will visit South Eastern North Carolina in the USA to widen their cultural perspectives and to observe their own vocations as practised abroad. There will be visits to local communities and institutions.
The tour will be hosted by local Rotarians who will provide accommodation and meals. No cost will fall on participants other than travel insurance and personal spending.
Those interested who are between the ages of 25 and 40 and have been employed for at least two years in their chosen vocation are eligible to apply. Enquiries should be made to Greville Megson 01684-572748 or Sandy Gibson 01684-563429. The closing date for entries with a completed application form is 5th October.
