MALVERN ROTARY CLUB CHRISTMAS HAMPER APPEAL

The response in recent years to our annual appeal to help us provide Christmas hampers to 100 families who are in need has been heart-warming. With continued pressure on budgets, we are trying, once more, to raise the funds to provide these much needed and appreciated Christmas Hampers. Rotarians will again be outside Waitrose collecting for the hampers in November and December. 

Alongside the Christmas Hampers, we are launching our annual:

MALVERN ROTARY TREE OF LIGHT 

Remember a life or pay tribute for a kind deed. 

We will again be lighting up a 100ft tree in Priory Park, Malvern and invite you to sponsor a light in memory of someone dear to you, whether they are no longer with us, or perhaps have simply supported you in times of need.  

Last year, we raised over £10,000 for our chosen charities. The names of those remembered and their sponsors’ messages will be displayed on a large screen in the foyer of the Malvern Theatres from late November and will also be printed in the Christmas edition of the Malvern Gazette. The full list of names will also be displayed on the Malvern Rotary website. Beneficiaries this year will again include Acorns Children’s Hospice, St Richard’s Hospice and other local charities.

Everyone is invited to see the lights switched on by The High Sheriff of Worcestershire , at 6pm on Monday 30^thNovember 2026. 

If you would like to sponsor a light this year, please complete the form overleaf in CAPITAL LETTERS and send it to Iain Selkirk at the address shown. Payment is by direct online payment but, if you prefer, you can send your cheque with the application form for a suggested minimum of £5 for each person remembered.
