We were absolutely thrilled to welcome the wonderful Treorchy Male Choir to our much loved and superb Hereford Cathedral to raise funds for local charities in and around Hereford. It was in fact a sold out event!
Hailing from the Rhondda valley this sensational Choir is regarded as one of the most foremost choral musical organisations globally, with a reputation for first-class performances for over 140 years. Touring all over the globe this incredible choir has raised the roof, left spines tingling and brought audiences to tears with their sheer musical brilliance and we are sure tonight will be no exception.
It may have been a wet evening but Hereford Cathedral was buzzing with people, the atmosphere was electric and we all had an incredible time whilst raising money for some well deserved charities.
With wonderful input from Hereford Police Male Choir too, the night was a real success.
The evening concluded with a curry and sing song at the Welsh Club in Hereford.
In the last year the club has supported Herefordshire Veteran Support Centre, The Living Room, Herefordshire Home Start, Melody Dance Company, Hereford Young Carers, Lads Club Juniors Football team, the Winter Night Shelter for the Homeless, Marches Family Network, HPA Music Festival, Hinton Boxing Club, Hereford Community Farm, Save the Wye, Hereford Scouts Group, Friends of Hope Scott House and Dream Your Future Families. Internationally we have responded to appeals providing shelter boxes for major catastrophes throughout the world and generators for Ukraine.
