Hereford City Rotary Club members have a passion for helping Hereford Community Farm. So when they contact us asking for some help it's a joy to respond and get involved.
At the end of October Hereford Community Farm staged a free autumn celebration event at their new location, Ashley Farm in Grafton. Members David, Kerry, Peter, Andrew, Sue and Ron were on hand at different times of the day to help out at the event and provide support where needed.
It was a full filled day with lots of great activities for visiting families to do and of course there were plenty of Halloween themed fun too.
Luke Mammatt of Wye Valley Falconry wowed spectators with his wonderful birds of prey; there was a pottery session going on with many pumpkins being fashioned on the tables; a bike repair shop; games for the kids and various stalls giving information and advice and refreshments.
The event was visited by our Mayor Kevin Tillett and Mayor's Officer John Marshall too.
