Easter's not Easter without a little bit of sunshine and a great walk in the offing! So thirteeen of our fabulous members set off on a gentle walk to see the panoramic 360 degree superb views from the trig point at Merbach Hill Common guided by keen walkers and long time members Kevin and Sue Basden.
Luckily the weather remained clement and the members were then treated to some fine hospitality from their guides who served delicious home-made soup and bread to the group followed by fabulous range of cheeses and scrumptious desserts prepared by the group. All were appreciative of the fine fayre after working up a good appetite in the great outdoors.
What a delightful way to spend time at Easter among friends.
