In March Hereford City Rotary Club members had an incredible day in Sainsbury's collecting for the local foodbank. Shoppers were amazingly generous, positive and happy to help. With one family donating every item on our list. In total 15 trollies worth of food were collected throughout the day along with much needed monetary donations. Members worked extremely hard and were rewarded with praise from shoppers and the food bank alike.
"We are immensely fortunate for the widespread support we receive from charities, businesses and local groups such as yourselves. Unfortunately, with the cost of living crisis deepening, the demand for food parcels continues to rise and without your generosity, many people and families would go hungry." Anastasia Calder, Hereford Food Bank
It was a wonderful day and one which brought the community together for such a great cause.
