Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz, easy-listening music, and family fun in Bramfield this Sunday.
The Hertford Rotary Club is inviting music lovers and families from across the district to its annual Summer Musical Festival this weekend. Taking place on Sunday 14 June 2026, the event promises a relaxing afternoon of live entertainment, great food, and community spirit, all in aid of a fantastic local cause.
The festival will run from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Bramfield Village Community Hall and its adjacent field.
Attendees can look forward to a wonderful lineup of live jazz and easy-listening music, featuring performances from popular local groups including Hoofie and the Bad Habits, alongside a variety of talented singers and musicians.
To complement the summer soundtrack, a freshly prepared barbecue and a fully licensed mobile bar will be operating throughout the afternoon. Visitors can also indulge in traditional cream teas, making it the perfect setting for a quintessential British summer social.
Date: Sunday 14 June 2026
Time: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Venue: Bramfield Village Community Hall, Bury Lane, Bramfield, SG14 2QL
Parking: Free, clearly signposted parking is available immediately adjacent to the venue.
First Aid: On-site first aid support is kindly provided by St John Ambulance.
The event is designed to be an informal, open-air experience. Organisers are encouraging all attendees to bring along their own folding lawn chairs or picnic blankets so they can sit back, relax, and comfortably enjoy the entertainment.
As this is a charity fundraiser, admission is by donation at the gate. A contribution of £5.00 per person is suggested to help maximise the fundraising efforts, while younger children can enter completely free of charge.
All proceeds raised from the gate, food sales, and donations throughout the afternoon will go directly to The Isabel Hospice to help fund their vital palliative care and support services across eastern Hertfordshire.
Whether you are a lifelong jazz enthusiast or simply looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend your Sunday afternoon, the Hertford Rotary Club looks forward to welcoming you to Bramfield.
