Rotary Delivers The Goods
......in a truckload of old unwanted tools to be precise!

Over the last few months members have been busy collecting all manner of unwanted tools - woodworking, metalworking and gardening - and other household items which either they themselves have donated or have been given by friends and neighbours clearing out their garden sheds and garages for taking to the Tools for Self Reliance (MK) workshop in Pennylands. Here these are sorted and refurbished back to as new as possible by the residents of the nearby Camphill Community before sending off to TFSR's sister charity in Southampton for onward distribution to various counties in Africa to help individuals set up and run their own small businesses in various trades.

Provided they can be delivered in a car or small van, TFSR welcomes donations of all sorts of tools and household items, and more recently even guitars! Just give them a call on 01908 236353. Any unsuitable or unrepairable items are either sent to auction, passed on to another appropriate charity or used to raise funds through scrap or recycling. Further information about the work of the TFSR charity can be found on their website https://www.tfsr-mk.org
