Photos of the winning teams at 2015 AmAm Golf Tournament

Friday 28th August Am-Am

The annual Rotary Club of Stirling Charity AM/AM was held on Friday 28th August on a beautiful sunny day which really made the whole day very special. The event was run on a shotgun basis as in previous years and 20 teams entered the event. They included teams from as far afield as Dundee, Auchterarder, East Kilbride and Callander.

This meant that although the amount raised has not yet been confirmed it is very clear that many local charities and good causes will benefit from this event which is really why the event has been so successful over many years. Although there are trophies and prizes to be won the real reason why teams enter is that they know the event benefits good causes.

The main prize winners can be seen in the above photographs with President Peter Mehta presenting the trophies and Junior Vice President Stewart Wilson watching on. Unseen and in the back ground was Sandy Farquharson who organised the event supported by other members of the Stirling Rotary Club.

Hepting and Farrer Trophy (Leading Team) Callander and West Perthshire Rotary Club Runners up: Stirling Ladies Golf Club

Littleton Trophy: (Leading Rotary Team): Callander and West Perthshire Rotary Club

It must also be mentioned our thanks to Stirling Golf Club who allow us to hold the event on their course and to congratulate the green keeping staff on the superb condition of the course. There were many golfers who took part in the event and who had not played the course before commented on the fact it was the best course (condition and quality of greens) they had played on all year.

Thanks also to Sandy Morrison who took all the photos.

We look forward to another successful event in 2016
