Jaipur Limb Charity Dinner

The 23rd. and final Newport Pagnell Rotary Club Jaipur Limb Charity Dinner - the end of an era.

The twenty-third - and final - Jaipur - Limb Charity Dinner took place at the Dome Restaurant (previously the Jaipur Restaurant. ) in March, 2019. The event received some generous sponsorship from the restaurant, and the previous owner, Mr Abdul Ahad. The dinner was well supported by over twenty Rotary Clubs from far and wide, and the raffle and ticket sales raised over £2000.

Soprano Emily Haig entertained the assembled diners with her usual style and wonderful voice. The Jaipur Dinner started as aone off event in 1995, and has over its existance raised in excee of £55,000. Nothing lasts for ever, howver, so 2019

Christmas Lights Tombola

The Club spent a day in Newport Pagnell running their tombola which attracted a great deal of interest and resulted in a very generous donation to Willen Hospice.

Recently we held a BBQ in Olney at the Rugby Club. Ailsa’s Aim, an Olney charity, joined us at the event and we all enjoyed a sunny afternoon with excellent food as well as bar facilities kindly provided by the Rugby Club.
