The first Frugal Lunch was held in January 2014 following an idea of John Neale with help of Paul Campion. January is the time of year when not much is going on. It is the start of winter and a good opportunity for fellowship among members and friends and not a costly meal to provide.
The latest Frugal Lunch was held in Chicheley Village Hall on Sunday 19th. January, 2020, and around thirty members and friends attended.
Along with the traditional raffle, the event raised around £300 which will be used to benefit local and national Rotary approved Charities.
