Why Rotary is relevant to you



HAVE you ever wondered why 1.2 million people are Rotarians - 47,000 of them in Great Britain & Ireland?

Rotary is a global organisation which has been going since 1905 but which is as relevant today as it was when Paul Harris conjured up the ideals.

The organisation has moved forward and remained relevant by working internationally on major projects, notably the eradication of polio, as well as at home through a host of community projects.

Rotarians are ordinary men and women drawn from all walks of lives who want to give something back to their community. It doesn't require a lot of time or commitment, but by belonging to Rotary opens up a whole new horizon.
