Hazel is the senior community fundraiser for Buckinghamshire and is based in their Tring office. She gave a great talk on what the hospice is doing at the moment. Especially with regard to the fundraising crisis they are having at the moment. They are finding new ways to raise finds such as a virtual half marathon, quiz nights and mystery evening. She als explained how some of the nurses are finding it traumatic at the moment because of the pandemic.
Hazel thanked Chesham Rotary for their recent contribution of £1000 which will provide 35 hours of nursing care and also thanked us for our long history of donations to the hospice.
