Charities We Support

Every year we choose a number of local charities for which we raise funds to support them.

Rotary Club of Beaconsfield supports local charities within a 10-mile radius of Beaconsfield and certain Rotary International major projects. All Rotary Club of Beaconsfield’s collections and proceeds from events are applied solely for charitable purposes and are given to charities. This brings much needed support and assistance to the local community from the young to the elderly, supporting persons in need of medical care, food and shelter.

Examples of local charities supported are:

Rotary Club of Beaconsfield also supports local schools. For several years the Club has donated Dictionaries4Life to four local schools to help with local schoolchildren’s education.

In 2020 towards the end of lockdown The Beaconsfield School was seeking help to provide extra outdoor classroom space while social distancing was still in force. The Club raised money to provide a marquee, with the aid of a grant from the Buckinghamshire Council.
