The work of Thames Valley Air Ambulance

Steve gave us a comprehensive account of the work of Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

The service celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024. It is now called out, on average, 9 times every day. 

And it doesn't just take patients to hospital. It brings hospital care to the patient, with every flight carrying a doctor and medical supplies.

In addition to the helicopter, the service now has 5 critical-care response vehicles.
