ROAGS MEET AT WHIPSNADE PARK GOLF CLUB ON THURSDAY 10TH JULY
Twenty one players assembled at 10.30 on Thursday at Whipsnade Park Golf Club.
Prior to enjoying a mammoth bacon roll and coffee, which could have fed a family, they were seen limbering up with punishing exercises so there were no pulled muscles or hamstring injuries during the forthcoming gruelling round of golf stretching for over 4 miles in temperatures of around 25C.
Whipsnade is a beautiful course and in excellent condition with wide fairways but players still managed to find the trees and bushes which bordered each hole.
The greens were lightning fast but true, which might have been the problem for many players who were possibly allowing for bias which wasn
