Chris Mellor talks about his Life and Times ..
Chris Mellor was born in 1960 and left school with one 'A' level. He had aspirations of becoming a Police Officer but instead began his career as a Broker at Lloyds of London in the City. After two and a half years he moved to Wembley to work as a Loss Adjuster.
After a short time he moved to Pall Pall working for Provident National. From there to Gerrards Cross and on to Financial Management in Amersham with Peter Williams and Dick Ellis.
Not only did he manage to have six jobs in ten years but found time to marry and have two children.
Chris is an active member of Amateur Dramatics and various charities. He has competed in the 100km Trailtreck in 24 hours and his principal sport is now golf.
Wanting to give something back to society as well as a successful business career, Chris has joined Rotary and I am sure that his energy and sportsmanship will make him an excellent Rotarian.
