It was a happy occasion on Thursday 7th February when children from several local schools came to hear their winning stories read by Nick Gallant, on behalf of the Rotary Clubs of Great Missenden, Chesham and Amersham.
Presidents Richard Langley from Amersham, Mervyn Edwards from Great Missenden, and Assistant Governor Gavin Plews from Great Missenden awarded prizes, which included book tokens, and a golden ticket to the Roald Dahl Museum, kindly donated by the Museum, to nine talented writers.
Rotary District Governor Debbie Hodge thanked all the Schools for taking part and praised the imagination and skills of the winners.
