The Amersham Young Environmental Photographer of the Year Competition now in its second year is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Amersham.
The competition was judged by Steven Catanach of Amersham Town Council, George Boyle, President of Amersham Rotary Club, Richard Langley, Vice President Amersham Rotary Club and Peter Jones of the Amersham Photographic Society.
The winner in the 7-15 age group was Savannah Stott of Chesham Bois. Trees, Snow and Sun.
The Winner of the 16-18 age group was James McKevitt of Chalfont St Giles. Parallel Trees.
The Mayor of Amersham, Cllr Mimi Harker OBE and Savannah Stott are pictured with Club Immediate Past President Chalmers Cursley who presented the prize of a Nikon Coolpix digital camera at the awards ceremony held in the Market Hall, Old Amersham on Sunday 17th July 2011.
The sharp eyed viewer might spot the Mayor wearing a Rotary Thanks for Life pin on her lapel!
