Owl nesting boxes for Carbrooke

In collaboration with Watton Men's Shed

In March 2026 the Rotary Club were delighted to collaborate with Watton Men's Shed in putting up some owl nesting boxes at Millenium Green, Carbrooke .

The boxes were built from scratch by Men's Shed members, then painted, stencilled and fixed to trees by Rotary Club members.

Rotarian Paul Weatherill, who co-ordinated  the operation, was delighted with this collaboration and expressed the hope that we could work together on many more projects in future.

We now wait eagerly to see whether owls are sufficiently  impressed with the boxes to take up residence in them.
