The Young photographer competition was organised by Rotarian Dr Mike Harvey with Mrs Katie Allott of Wayland Academy.
Year 9 entrants were required to submit a Portrait photograph for this year's competition, with Year 10 entrants tasked with producing an image representing 'Rebuilding'. All pupils gave a written explanation of the inspiration behind their photographs, which provided a fascinating insight into their interpretation of the subject.Judging reflected both the quality of the image and the accompanying explanations.
Year 9 winner was Rosie Everitt, and runner-up was Elizabeth Podolski.
Year 10 winner was Daisy Hibbitt, and runner-up was Zoe Anne De'ath
