Crucial Crew March 2024

Watton Rotary have once again assisted at the annual Crucial Crew event organised by Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service at Letton Hall, Shipdham. 

Crucial Crew is designed to support Year 6 children in their final year at Junior school, by providing a number of safety advice sessions prior to them moving on to secondary school. This is achieved through a series of short interactive prersentations, held on the same day, using experts from several partner organisations, such as RNLI, Fire & Rescue Service, Air Ambulance, Cadent Gas, Police and St John's Ambulance.

These workshops have been popular with local schools for many years, because children have a very positive experience, and go back to their schools and omes with increased knowledge about potential dangers around them, whether that is on the coast, on the roads, at home or on the internet.

We will be supporting the next Crucial Crew event in July this year.
