6 students contested the final, and had to produce a 2 course dinner in 1 hour without assistance, but under the watchful eye of teacher Mrs Gaynor Evans.
The winner was Olivia Bradley, who in the opinion of the judges - Mrs Evans and Rotarians Peter Semlyens and Mike Haythorpe - produced the best meal in terms of presentation, taste and texture.
Olivia's meal was prawn curry, beautifully presented on a display stand, followed by chocolate brownie.
Runner-up was Lilly Rogers who produced chicken and broccoli followed by a mixed berry dessert.
Both winner and runner-up were invited to our School Competitions Award evening at Broom Hall Hotel in March to receive their Awards.
