Inner Wheel Club of Watton

A number of our members attended the 42nd Birthday celebrations of the Inner Wheel Club of Watton

The Inner Wheel Club celebrated their 42nd Birthday in style, with a guest speaker and sumptuous buffet for all attendees.

President Heather Hewson was delighted to welcome several Watton Rotarians to the event, Also in attendance were the Mayor of Watton Susan Hebborn, District Innrer Wheel Chairman Hilary Farrell, and a number of members from Hilary's own club in Hunstanton.

Speaker for the evening was Mary Rudd, a lay canon at Norwich Cathedral, who spoke most entertainingly about the history of the cathedral, and her own involvement in recent years, which included the erection of a helter skelter within the cathedral and the exhibition of Dippy the dinosaur.

Mike Gicquel brought greetings from the Rotary Club, and Hilary Farrell gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the visitors.
