This evening we were treated to Part 1 of Rick Woodroffe's job talk. Starting his career with P&O lines, he joined the RAF, and his talk was most entertaining, as he described his various postings, from the Shetland Isles to Hong Kong, and many places in between. His talk was illustrated with photos he had taken, and he left his audience looking forward to Part 2, which will be scheduled later this year.
