Brandon Exchange

This evening we were due to have our annual 'Brandon Exchange' meetings, which involves members from Watton Rotary Club attending a meeting of Brandon Rotary Club, and vice versa, so that each meeting has a mixture of members of either club. It is also traditional that the President of each club chairs the meeting of the other club. Over the years this 'exchange' has fostered fellowship and understanding between the clubs, and enabled an insight into how another Rotary Club goes about its business.

Due to the pandemic, the Brandon Exchange could not take place in its usual format, so this evening we all got together in a joint Zoom meeting. Everybody had a chance to introduce themselves to those they hadn't met, and talk about how Lockdown has affected them.

We also had a talk from Ivan about Nature, and a talk from Paul W about his Shelterboat project. Martin's attempt to give us an update on the Rose project was scuppered by technology!

Keith shared a couple of amusing videos with us, and at the end of the meeting he held an online poll, in which 100% of those responding said they enjoyed the meeting. You can't get better than that.
