Club Assembly

Thu, May 28th 2020 at 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

17 members together with our ADG Vicky Burman attended our annual Club Assembly, which for the first time in our history was held via Zoom.

Club Assembly is effectively our planning meeting for the next Rotary year. Our President Elect Mike Haythorpe set out his vision for the coming year, and invited other club officers and committee chairs to outline their main aims. Our plans of course depend to a large extent on the country's progress with the pandemic, but when we can once again meet face to face in safety there wil be much work to be done. One long-standing member remarked that it had been the most positive Assembly he had attended for some years.
