AGM and Business meeting

This evening 16 members attended the Club's AGM and Business meeting via Zoom.
At the AGM members voted to agree the Treasurer's budget proposals for the coming year. Election of Honorary members were agreed, as were the election of officers and Committee membership for the coming year.
Our business meeting followed the AGM at which a large majority of members voted in favour of continuing to use Zoom for our weekly meetings whilst we remained in lockdown. Members also voted in favour of the purchase of a Shelter Box.

Foundation is Rotary's own charity. It is the vehicle through which much of Rotary's international good work is carried out.

Fundraising is an important part of our work each year, as without funds we cannot undertake our many charitable activities.

We seek ways to serve our local community wherever we can, whether this is giving of our time or in making monetary donations.

From Jan 2023 we have started a Business of the Month Award, for businesses who have been nominated for outstanding service or assistance.
