The Soham Staploe's globetrotting bear, Edward, has finished a years worth of travel in an effort to raise funds to support the Rotary "End Polio Now" campaign.

Pet Doctors' in Ely donated the prize money of £100 to whoever could guess the total mileage travelled by Edward in the 2014 - 2015 Rotary Year. Guesses for the distance were £1 each.
The total mileage travelled was just over 47000 miles and Rtn Lynne Turner was announced as the winner with one of her guesses being closest to the answer by 40 miles.
£616 were raised which was trebled through the arrangement with the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation raising the total the Polio campaign benefitted from to £1848 - an excellent result.
