The evening went with a real buzz on 5th March with the eight teams from the following primary schools in Perth competing in the Rotary Primary School Quiz:
Inch View, Kinnoull, Longforgan, Methven, Pitcairn, RDM, Ruthvenfield, and Viewlands.
These teams had already qualified from a field of 14 school teams earlier in the year.
With an audience of nearly 100 family, teachers and friends all the team members put on an impressive performance answering 60 questions covering a wide range of topics including geography, technology, mathematics, science, music, art and general knowledge. What’s more they were clearly having fun.
After a very close position before the final round the Viewlands Primary School team of Daniel, Oscar, Rishi and Benjamin came top and won the Quiz trophy. Inch View Primary School team : Harris, Ben, Tom and Larrisa were a close second. Both teams will go forward to the next round in May.
Congratulations to all the team members and especially to the winners. They were all a credit to themselves, their schools and parents.
