Rotakids is the way for kids aged 7 to 12 to get involved in “Rotary” and community activities in a fun way.
They are based in schools or youth groups and are helped and supported by their teachers and designated members of the local Rotary Club. They meet and organise activities enabling them to gain valuable experience in helping others and learning new things about their community and the world.
They organise two projects each year. One is for the local community which can be at their own school and the other is one which raises awareness of international issues.
The Rotary Club of Perth works with three Primary School Rotakids groups: Oakbank Primary School, Kinnoull Primary School and Craigie Primary School. The Rotakids leading the group at school keep in touch with the Club and have given excellent and inspiring presentations to members on the work that they do.
