Perthshire Classic Car Tour 2026

One of the longest and most scenic routes in Scotland raises over £13,000 for charity

What an amazing day out the Perthshire Classic Car Tour, on Sunday 26th April, was for car enthusiasts!  And what's more they raised an fantastic sum of £13,500 to support the nominated charities and small local charities.

The feedback we have received shows all those participating enjoyed a thoroughly fabulous driving tour of 200 miles.  The weather was superb through-out the day showcasing Highland Perthshire at its best.

We had 80 cars registered and the camaraderie, fun and warm atmosphere amongst all the car enthusiasts made for a truly memorable day.

The morning run through Glencoe to Ballachulish was spectacular.  The Isles of Glencoe Hotel provided an lovely lunch in beautiful surroundings before the drivers headed back past Port Appin and Tynuilt to Crieff Hydro Hotel.  There the stories of the day were told over an excellent awards dinner surrounded by classic cars.

This year’s nominated charities for funds raised are Prostate Scotland and Race Against Dementia.  The main sponsor of the event is John Clark Motor Group.  In addition, Stephen Leckie, Chief Executive of Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, and owner of a remarkable car collection, supported the hospitality package.

Our dedicated website www.perthrotary.co.uk gives all the information and where photos of the day are held.

Perthshire Business News has told the story how this event has attracted royalty and has raised, over the years, coming up to £100k for nominated charities.   The story is here:   https://www.perthshire.net/news/pcct.php .

The cheques of £6,000 each were presented at Landrover Perth to John Clark, Trustee of Race Against Dementia and Suzanne Oliphant of Prostate Scotland by Anna Martin, President of the Rotary Club of Perth and Bill McDonald, organiser of the tour.  The balance of money raised is to be distributed by the Rotary Club of Perth to local charities.

Anna Martin said “We have been so delighted with the feedback and the success of this year’s Tour that we are happy to commit to running the same event again on Drive It Day 2028."
