Hot on the heels of the Open Championship, the next Major to be contested is The Presidents Putter, a competition between the Perth Rotary Clubs. This gives the winners bragging rights for the next year.
So… in the face of stiff competition the Rotary Club of Perth regained the President's putter after a number of lean years.
The triumphant team won by an average Stableford score of 15.5 to 14.65. We extend a big thank you to Perth Kinnoull Club for organising the event and the 10 Perth players who excelled on the night.
Graham Duncan was the best player from our side and he was almost overcome by the prize of 2 balls. This allowed him to retain his amateur status.
