Primary School Quiz

Fourteen schools from across the region took part in the Primary School Quiz in the first round.  From that round the top eight schools competed against each other in the final.

The final event was held in the Salutation Hotel on Thursday 6 March 2025 and the winners were Kinnoull Primary School with Oakbank Primary School the runners up.

The competition was fierce between the teams with high scoring throughout the quiz. At the end there was a tie and so it took an extra round of tie breaker questions to separate the top two teams.

It was a truly excellent event with a great, noisy, fun atmosphere enjoyed by the Rotary Club members as well as the participants and their many supporters.

We congratulate Kinnoull Primary School on their win and Oakbank Primary School for the close second place.

Both teams go through to the Rotary Area Final to be held on 3 May 2025 at the MacRobert Centre, Bridge of Allan. The winners there will compete in the grand Scottish Final in Aberdeen in June.
