Five New Members in One Day

Five Local and International Members join us

New Members' Induction

On Thursday 20th February we welcomed and inducted FIVE new members. We can’t think of any other time we have inducted so many on one day!  They came from different local and international backgrounds and we are delighted they have chosen to join us.

Two have local curling connections:

Ann Maree Davidson is currently employed as the Curling Development Officer based at Dewars Rinks Perth.

Stewart Riddick, also a curler, recently retired as an IT Solution Architect.

Two are from the USA:

Glen and Jackie Meigs have recently relocated to Perth Scotland from Utah, USA for a couple of years.   Glen, a current Rotarian of Washington Utah, is transferring his membership and Jackie is renewing her membership. Both work in the Financial Consultancy Service sector.

One worked for many years in Papua New Guinea:

Frank Gamble recently gave us a very interesting talk on his experience as a banker in Papua New Guinea and decided to join us.

We welcome them all and know that their support with the Club’s community fund-raising events and active involvement with Perth charities will be of great benefit.
