Raising £32,400 for charity
The 2024 silent auction has now concluded netting a wonderful total for our charities of over £32,400.
Grateful thanks goes to the members who participated, to all the wonderful businesses who once again donated products and services and to all those who bid & bought from the auction.
The lots this year were of a very high quality and whilst the number of lots was down, the higher value of those which we were selling resulted in a total nearly 10% above last year.
The auction site which has been developed over the last 17 years is extremely professional and apart from looking good, owing to the rapidity of invoices being issued, complete with an easy payment link, it should be noted that within 48 hours of the auction ending over £25,000 had been received.
In particular thanks must go to David Lindsay, Ewan Bannerman, and Graeme Duncan of the fundraising committee for making this annual event a continued success.
