Events we run

In addition to projects, the club also runs events over the year. We use these events to raise money for charity.

In 2007 we ran the first Perth Silent Auction and raised over £30K last year. We nominate key charities to whom we donate the money raised. We have donated to the Cornhill Palliative Care unit in Perth from the first year of running the event. Latterly the unit has used the money to train GPs enabling them to provide palliative care for patients in their home. We also select another major charity. In the past these have included CHAS and Alzheimers Scotland. Last year we chose My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. We also reserve some money for local charities.

We also ran the Perth Classic Car Tour where we once again we raised money for nominated and local charities. This year the two nominated charities were BEATS (helping young people with eating disorders) and the MS Society Scotland.

2024 saw the return of the charity fayre. This was a welcome return of the fayre which had to be abondoned durinng the COVID period. At the fayre we make stalls available free of charge to local charities enabling them to promote their cause.

We also run a golf event where we raise funds which we use for local good causes.
