Whilst most of our members have joined the Rotary Club of Perth as an individual there is an increasing number of firms having joined through our Business Membership route. In this case a company designates up to three of its employees who are then inducted, along with the company, and thus become full, participating members of our Rotary Club. The company owner can change the nominees whenever they wish.
So what’s the difference given that many of our individual members are employed?
The difference is that firstly the company itself has “signed up” to the values of the Rotary: acting with integrity, taking action and making a difference, encouraging diversity and keen to support and serve our local community. The nominee/s and now new club member/s will do likewise at their induction. The annual membership fee is invoiced directly to the company.
If you own a business and wish to give back and support those in need in the local community this membership route facilitates you doing that. You will receive a membership certificate for display and the Rotary logo can be shown on your website demonstrating your social responsibility credentials.
Here we see Amanda Frenz from Lindsays, Solicitors and Ray Faherty from Oakbank Financial Services being welcomed at their induction in March 2024.
The employees of our other Business members are so integrated who would know!
