Visit to the new housing development at Bertha Park

Visit to Bertha Park

Club member Alistair Ritchie welcomed around 35 Rotarians and partners to on Wednesday 25th July 2018 to view the new homes being built on the western edge of .

Suitably attired in hard hats and high-vis jackets, the group was given a guided tour of the first phase of the site by developers, Springfield Properties. The visit included being shown inside some of the houses, which are nearing completion and due for occupancy within the next couple of months. The trip also took us on a walk past the new which is currently under construction and scheduled to be ready for the first intake of pupils in the summer of 2019.

We then retired to the farm house at for afternoon tea with Meg providing a wonderful spread for the whole party to round off a very enjoyable visit.

Many thanks to Alistair and Meg for all of their hard work and most generous hospitality.
