Over £6000 raised at Charity Golf Day 2016
Our annual Charity Golf Day was held at King James VI GC on Wednesday 11thMay 2016 amid glorious sunshine and beautiful blossom and the entire fund raising effort amassed a magnificent total of £6055.
Grateful thanks are due to all the staff at King Jimmy for providing a course in very good condition, considering the flood damage over the winter, as well as excellent hospitality in the clubhouse. Many thanks too to our numerous sponsors and donors, the 24 participating teams, and last, but not least, our hard working team of Rotarians for making the day such a success.
The competition was a keenly fought affair with only a few points separating the top teams and congratulations to the eventual winners - Aim Developments.
The Kilmac team were runners up and rather appropriately Specsavers brought home the red ball with the lowest score.
