Rotary Makes a Difference

We're for Communities - Local and international

Who We Are

We’re a welcoming group of men and women who meet for fellowship, fun, and community service. Founded in 1917, the Rotary Club of Perth is one of Scotland’s longest-established clubs. We’ve evolved with the times while keeping our core ethos of “Service Above Self.”

Our members come from all walks of life, united by a shared goal — making a positive difference locally, nationally, and internationally.

What We Do

We run and support a variety of community events and projects, including:

We also get hands-on from litter picking and gardening to landscaping for schools, hospitals, and charities, always aiming to improve our community in practical ways.

Why Join Us

Rotary offers friendship, service, and fun:

  • Give back – make a difference in Perth and beyond.
  • Meet people – form lasting friendships across our community.
  • Have fun – enjoy engaging speakers, social events, and good company.
  • Be part of something bigger – a worldwide Rotary network of 1.4 million members.

Discover what inspires our members — visit the “Why I Joined Rotary” stories on our website.

Get Involved

Join us for lunch every Thursday at McDiarmid Park or for our monthly breakfast meeting at the Premier Inn. It’s friendly, informal, and you’ll always be welcome.

If you would like to join the Rotary family, volunteer your time to a community project or make a donation, register your interest and we will contact you with details of how you can help.  We would be delighted for you to join us.
