Ewan Bannerman and Ian MacLean

Ewan Bannerman is now in his 30th year as a member of the Rotary Club of Perth.  For almost 20 years he has partnered with David Lindsay (also a Paul Harris Fellow) delivering the Club’s annual Silent Auction which is estimated to have raised around an incredible £750,000 for charities.

Ewan has for many years been the organiser of the very successful fund-raising and fun golf competitions where his irreverent and humorous style belies his excellent organisational skills and ability to deliver consistently enjoyable and well-run events.

Ewan is well known in the community through his business Bannerman Decorators. 

Iain MacLean joined The Rotary Club of Perth in 1991 and he is a stalwart of our club. He has never sought glory of President but he is always quietly supporting and contributing significantly to fund raising efforts.  His consistency, personable nature and unassuming charm is remarkable in ensuring donors and fellow members feel valued, welcomed and committed.

In his work life he started in Inverness as a coachbuilder then moved to Shell and eventually rose to being responsible for Scottish fuel services holding this post for over 30 years.
