The installation of our new President for the year 2016/2017

The installation of our new President for the year 2016/2017 and the unique Rotary year of having both Husband and wife Presidents of the two Rotary Clubs in Great Yarmouth

At our meeting on Tuesday, 5th July, we saw the installation of our new President for the year 2016/2017.   Rtn. Martin Keable recalled the numerous events held by the Club during his Presidential Year and then called forward our President-Elect Rtn. Diana Loveland and handed to her the collar of office, with best wishes for a happy and successful year as our President.  Diana then told the club what she hoped to achieve during her year.   This year is a very special year for the club, Rtn. Diana and her husband, Rtn. Malcolm Loveland, who is also the newly installed President of the Great Yarmouth Haven Rotary Club. Who gave a short speech explaining how they were both looking forward to this unique rotary year. President Diana was also  delighted to then install Rtn. Pat Stuart as Senior Vice President .

The Club is hoping to be increasing its numbers and in this respect, if anyone reading this report feels they would like to know more about what Rotary does and would like to become a member of our organisation, please contact our President c/o the Burlington Palm Hotel.
