At our meeting on Tuesday the Club welcomed Dr. John Applegate of the Acle Emergency Response Team. Dr. Applegate, pictured with President John Newman, was an ex Lynn Grove pupil who qualified as a doctor and surgeon some sixteen years ago. After spending some time as a G.P. he became interested in pre hospital medicine and eventually joined the Acle Response Team and has been involved in many road traffic accidents throughout Norfolk. With the aid of slides he was able to show us the results of some of the incidents he has attended . He is obviously a very dedicated man and loves what he does. Rtn. Barry Coleman gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the Club.
