Feast to Fitness is a January‑long community fitness and fundraising challenge designed to help people get active after the festive season while raising money for Tapping House – Norfolk Hospice.
What is Feast to Fitness...
A West Norfolk‑wide Rotary and Alive Leisure initiative running throughout January 2027, encouraging the public to improve their fitness, lose weight, and raise funds for Tapping House.
Core Purpose
- Fund hospice vehicles - Money raised may help Tapping House purchase or lease vehicles used by trained hospice staff for home visits to terminally ill patients.
- Support existing services - Funds may also contribute to general hospice expenditure.
How the Event Works
- Month‑long participation - Anyone can take part in fitness activities throughout January.
- Fitness for fundraising - Participants exercise to improve their wellbeing while collecting sponsorship for Tapping House.
- Sponsorship model - Friends, neighbours, colleagues sponsor participants.
Where Activities Take Place
- Alive Leisure Centres - Indoor activities hosted at any Alive centre.
- Outdoor locations - Walking, running, rowing can be done anywhere safe outdoors.
