John Cooper will Introduce Tim Salt who will give a talk entitled "A Policeman's Lot"
Park Hotel. 1830 for 1900 hrs.
Tim Salt, a former policeman who started his career as a constable and achieved the rank of Superintendent.
After 35 years of service he retired and acted as a consultant on Border Controls and Corruption - giving lectures largely in the third world.
His talk on the 4th August is titled " A Policeman's Lot" . He will explain what life was like for a policeman in the early years of his career to what life is like today for the modern policeman.
The opportunity to ask questions about current issues will be encouraged.
Tim is "professional" speaker and has a broad understanding of politics and the law so it should be a good evening, guests welcome.
