A chance to the inside stories from Westminster, from someone who served as an MP at the very heart of the government during a particularly tumultuous time
Jo Churchill will come to share some of her fascinating experiences as the MP for Bury St Edmunds 2015-2024 and her various Government Ministerial positions. Jo held posts in Health, DWP and Agriculture during some of our most challenging times including Brexit, Covid, and the invasion of Ukraine.
As Vice-Chamberlain of the Household she was very involved with both the State Funeral and the Coronation. During the State Opening of Parliament in 2023 Jo was the MP ‘held hostage’ at Buckingham Palace to ensure the safe return of the Monarch!
This will be a very interesting talk with the opportunity to ask questions afterwards.
