Harriet Fear chairs Cambridge Ahead, a business and academic member organisation dedicated to the successful and sustainable growth of Cambridge and its region in the long-term. They exist to be a catalyst for the success of Cambridge and quality of life across the city region. She is also involved in Innovate Cambridge and Cambridge&. She was previously Chief Executive of One Nucleus, a Cambridge-based Life Sciences & Healthcare membership organisation, and Prime Minister’s Business Ambassador for Life Sciences
Harriet formerly spent 20 years with the Foreign Office, serving in 17 countries, including Congo, Cambodia and Ethiopia.
We shall also have the presentation by Richard Perkins of the RGBI National Young Environmentalist Award to our Junior entrant Joni Millington and prizes to our Intermediate Group entrants who came third in their age group.
In recognition of our club entrants' success in this year's competition we are to receive the Rodney Huggins Award, named after the Past RGBI President and Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group Director. This comprises a trophy and a sum of £250 for us to use for an environmental project

Our Junior Competition entrant has gone on to win at National Level. Our Intermediate Team won third prize in their group

Past President John Martin uses his building skills to help the locals create a community centre for this deprived settlement in The Gambia, only a few miles from the luxurious tourist resorts on the coast
