Alistair Wayne runs Media Managers Ltd, a Bury St Edmunds-based media marketing agency that creates TV, Radio and Podcast advertising campaigns. After he launched Q103FM in Cambridge for the GWR Group in 1994 it became the fastest growing station in the history of commercial radio, reaching market leadership in 12 weeks. He is an expert in marketing strategy, integrated marketing communications, media strategy and campaign execution.
He has worked with British Airways & Iberia, ICI, Mars, Bass, Greene King, Rennies, Aspro, Powerhouse and AstraZeneca. He is Affiliate (professional) to the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Lecturer at Cambridge Marketing College on Integrated Marketing Communications. Affiliated to The Judge Institute (University of Cambridge MBA programme) and Cambridge Enterprise. In the past he has been Entrepreneur in Residence at Anglia Ruskin University. Past non-executive director appointments include: Greater Cambridge Partnership, Cambridge Horizons, Wysing Arts, The Junction, Cambridge Regional College. Current: Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds
